Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and Army combat Veteran who retired after 26 years of military service. I have extensive experience working with veterans, active-duty military members, first responders, and their families as they navigate stress, trauma, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I believe people are resilient and capable of meaningful change, even during difficult seasons of life. My goal is to provide a supportive, practical, and judgment-free space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, goal-oriented, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), mindfulness, and other effective techniques based on each client’s needs. I focus on helping clients develop practical tools they can apply in everyday life while working toward measurable progress. I also believe humor, authenticity, and strong therapeutic connection can play an important role in healing.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, the challenges you’re facing, and the goals you’d like to achieve. I work to create a relaxed, comfortable environment where you can speak openly without judgment or pressure. Together, we’ll begin identifying practical next steps and develop a plan tailored to your needs. My goal is to help therapy feel productive, supportive, and focused on helping you move forward as efficiently as possible.
