Great to meet you!

My counseling practice focuses on helping individuals with a variety of concerns, with an emphasis on supporting LGBTQ adults and individuals with neurodivergent presentations. In my 8 years as a practitioner, I have offered a mixture of my training and education, along with my personal lived perspective, in my work with clients who struggle with alternative relationship concerns (ethical non-monogamy, kink, and other), ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, and major life events.

My approach to therapy

In sessions we will utilize a Cognitive Behavioral approach, with an emphasis on processing as a means to identify appropriate tools for experimentation. Our exploration of potential tools through experiments is collaborative, with a focus on highlighting and growing what works for you. Skills I will often bring into sessions when appropriate include meditation, sensory mapping, creative art, transpersonal analysis, socratic dialogue, and positive habit reinforcement.

What you can expect from me

Awareness. I will work with you to help you grow your awareness, to understand the factors within yourself, others, and the world around you that are contributing to your unhelpful thoughts, feelings, and actions. You will also gain skills and tools along the way as we work together, but the greater yield of our work will appear in the development of your awareness toward not just how things led to your issues when we began, but what to focus and attend to as you move forward into your future.
