Great to meet you!

Seandel Aiken, a licensed mental health counselor who genuinely believes in the capacity for everyone to evolve, grow, change and not be a victim of their circumstances. She has experience working with people struggling with eating disorders, Autism, substance abuse, low self-esteem and sexual assault survivors.

My approach to therapy

She has successfully utilized a therapeutic approach of reality therapy and choice theory that does not dwell on the past but how to live in the here and now and not allow the past to stunt growth or dictate the future. She focuses on empowering clients, supporting them and guiding them to develop healthy coping skills and self-discovery.

What you can expect from me

She is passionate about her work and driven to provide a positive experience and provide support and care for everyone that she works with. She tends to be warm and encouraging. Asking questions and truly trying to understand. Direction and support will be provided and unhelpful thoughts and behaviors will be challenged.
