Great to meet you!

You are not alone.

I am a psychiatrist with over 20 years of experience supporting those in need or who have lost hope. I recently retired from the military as the Psychiatry Consultant to the Army Surgeon General and was responsible for all of Psychiatry in the United States Army. I have expertise in the treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and the treatment of military and first responder populations. I also specialize in treatment resistant forms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD.

My approach to therapy

I primarily use medication management to help my patients reclaim their lives and more effectively engage in therapy. While medication management is my primary treatment modality I also engage in supportive and cognitive behavioral therapy with my patients. In person I use Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation and Spravato to help patients with treatment resistant concerns.

What you can expect from me

During the first session I will ask a lot of questions to better understand your current situation and medical needs. I need to hear your story and what you want to achieve with treatment. I will then discuss options and together we will develop an optimized treatment plan.
