Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Seema Dhindaw!

As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and National Certified Counselor (NCC), I'm dedicated to supporting your journey toward well-being. My diverse background, including advanced degrees in Biomedical Sciences and an MBA, enriches my understanding of how various life factors influence us. I specialize in helping individuals and couples navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, trauma, loss, aging, cultural issues, work stress, relationship dynamics, and addictions. My integrative therapeutic approach, drawing from relational psychodynamics, attachment theory, CBT, and mindfulness, encourages self-exploration and empowerment. I firmly believe in your capacity for change and am committed to supporting you in improving your life.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is integrative, primarily drawing from relational psychodynamics, attachment theory, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and mindfulness-based techniques. I believe that by exploring past experiences and relational patterns, understanding our core emotions, and developing practical coping strategies, we can foster lasting change. My goal is to create a safe and curious space where you can explore your emotions, gain deeper self-awareness, and ultimately empower yourself to improve your life.

What you can expect from me

I deeply understand the significant impact that identity, diversity, religion, and culture can have on a person's worldview and their relationships, and I approach each client with cultural humility and sensitivity. I firmly believe that people can and do change, and I am committed to walking alongside you as you discover your strengths and navigate your path forward.
