Great to meet you!

My path to clinical social work began in the last place most people would expect — an engineering program. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Tuskegee University, and while that training sharpened how I think and solve problems, I kept coming back to a deeper calling: people. I went on to earn my Master of Social Work with a concentration in Mental Health from Wayne State University, and I've never looked back.

My approach to therapy

For the past two years, I served as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the United States Air Force at the 18th Medical Group in Okinawa, Japan, providing care through the True North Program — a specialized initiative focused on mental health support for service members and their families. Working in that environment, in a unique corner of the world, reinforced everything I believe about resilience, connection, and the importance of meeting people exactly where they are.

What you can expect from me

My clinical toolkit includes intensive case management, and I hold a certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Chronic Pain — an area where mental and physical health intersect in ways that are often underserved. I bring both analytical rigor and genuine human warmth to every client relationship, and I'm passionate about making mental health care accessible, practical, and transformative.
