Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m glad you’re here.

I believe you are more than a diagnosis or a list of symptoms. My goal is to get to know the person behind them- your experiences, goals, values, and what matters most to you, so we can create care that truly fits your life.

I’m a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of settings, including a suicide hotline, inpatient psychiatric facilities, and outpatient care.

I strive to provide the kind of care I would want to receive myself: a space where you feel comfortable being yourself, feel heard without judgment, and are an active part of your treatment decisions. You are not just receiving care, you are part of creating it. Together, we’ll explore your options and build a plan that aligns with your goals.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my cats, taking road trips, and exploring coffee shops. Thank you for considering me as your provider. I’d be honored to get to know you and be a part of your healing journey.

My approach to therapy

I want appointments to feel like a conversation, not just a list of symptoms. I’ll take the time to listen, answer your questions, explain your options, and work with you to create a plan that fits your needs and your life.

I take a holistic, culturally responsive approach to care by taking the time to understand the bigger picture of your health, experiences, and daily life. I believe mental health is connected to many parts of who we are, including sleep, nutrition, movement, stress, relationships, and routines. We’ll talk about these areas to better understand what may be contributing to how you’re feeling and explore practical strategies and coping skills that feel manageable and fit naturally into your life.

What you can expect from me

During our first visit, we’ll take the time to talk about your mental and physical health history, what brings you in, your goals, and what you hope to get from treatment. My goal is to understand who you are beyond your symptoms so we can create a plan that feels personalized, realistic, and aligned with what matters most to you.

Together, we’ll identify goals and discuss next steps that feel manageable. After our initial appointment, I’ll check in to see how things are going, and you’re always welcome to reach out with questions, concerns, or updates between visits.
