Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) with over a decade of experience helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and transitions. I have worked in private practice, community mental health, disaster recovery, and youth services. My areas of specialization include trauma, depression, anxiety, grief and loss, and women's issues. I am passionate about creating a supportive, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to make meaningful changes in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and strengths-based. I believe that each client is the expert on their own life, and my role is to provide guidance, support, and evidence-based tools to help them achieve their goals. I primarily utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, stress and mood management techniques, assertiveness training, and wellness-focused interventions. Together, we explore patterns of thinking, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical strategies that promote healing, resilience, and personal growth.

What you can expect from me

I always start with an introductory session. You can expect a welcoming, safe, and judgment-free space where you can openly share your concerns and experiences. My goal is to gain an understanding of what has brought you to therapy, identify your strengths, and discuss the changes you would like to see in your life. We will begin establishing therapeutic goals and developing a plan tailored to their unique needs and circumstances. Clients often leave the first session feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about their path forward.
