Great to meet you!

My passion lies in helping people thrive! You are the expert of your own life and with professional guidance and exploration, you can live a life aligned to your values and priorities. As a second generation immigrant, I understand the challenge in normalizing talking about mental health and asking for support. I'm so glad you're here - schedule with me through Headway!

A bit about my approach to therapy

As a licensed psychologist, my approach to therapy is based in science and research. However, I understand the value of adapting therapeutic techniques to each individual person. My approach is person-centered and solution-oriented. I do not shy away from mindfulness, spirituality, or discussing what is important you and gives you purpose. My style balances being an empathetic person in your life while also holding you accountable and gently challenging you toward making change.

What you can expect from our first session

If you've felt overlooked by providers or felt that your unique identities of race, ethnicity, religion, spirituality, sexuality, gender, age, ability, health, education, economic status, or citizenship were judged, then you've come to the right place. I understand that everyone has complex identities (that might change over time!) within them. You can expect our sessions to be goal-oriented and tailored to your changing needs and goals.
