Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Senami, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I work with adolescents and adults dealing with concerns such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, and other mental health challenges. I know it isn’t always easy to reach out for help, so I want you to feel comfortable being yourself and talking openly with me. My goal is for you to feel heard, understand what’s going on, and leave with a clear plan for moving forward.

My approach to therapy

I’m warm and easy to talk to, but I’ll also be honest and direct with you. I like to understand the whole picture, what you’re experiencing, what may be contributing to it, and how it’s affecting your everyday life. I’ll explain my recommendations and the reasoning behind them, and I want you to feel comfortable asking questions or sharing concerns. We’ll make treatment decisions together and find an approach that feels both clinically appropriate and realistic for you.

What you can expect from me

Our first visit is really about getting to know you and understanding what brought you in. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, your medical and mental health history, medications, sleep, daily life, and anything else that may be important to your care. You don’t need to have everything figured out before we meet, that’s part of what I’m here to help with. By the end of the visit, I want you to have a better understanding of what may be going on and feel clear about our next steps.
