I am a licensed mental health counselor in Florida. I am a certified EMDRIA-approved EMDR therapist and trained in Brainspotting as well. I specialize in working with people who feel overworked for other people in their life while feeling underappreciated and left alone, feeling confused about who they are and what they can do to gain a sense of control back in their life.
EMDR is my primary modality in the treatment. My approach to using EMDR revolves around believing in a person's innate ability to self-heal. EMDR is going to help you retrain your body's response to your triggers, increase insights about your difficulties and what you need to move forward. You will take an active role in reprocessing unprocessed memories that negatively affect your present life. I will be a listening ear, experienced guide, witness, and support on your heroic journey of healing.
