Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Sam, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. As an Asian-American bilingual/bicultural therapist, my heart lies in supporting members of the AAPI community and other ethnic minorities who have experienced marginalization due to their intersection of identities (ie. spirituality/religion, sexuality/LGBTQ, legal status, cultural background, etc).

A bit about my approach to therapy

In my practice, you are in the driver seat while I support and empower the journey we embark together. Your lived experiences, background, and intersecting identities are essential to me in creating a therapeutic space that works for you. I am also an EMDR trained therapist to effectively navigate trauma issues and pull from multiple therapeutic models to best meet your needs in fostering true lasting change.

What you can expect from our first session

I work to build and foster a therapeutic alliance where we can collaborate together in creating a space for you to freely explore yourself and bring transformation. 한국어 상담 가능합니다!
