Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I earned my M.A. in Child Study and Clinical Psychology from Tufts University and my Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Purdue University. My clinical experience includes working in a state psychiatric hospital, providing counseling to college and graduate students, and supporting law students and professionals navigating academic, career, and personal challenges.

I specialize in relationship concerns, including difficulties with family members, romantic partners, friendships, and the relationship you have with yourself. I also provide ADHD and autism assessments for adults. My goal is to create a supportive space where you can better understand yourself, strengthen your relationships, and move toward a more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy works best when clients feel genuinely understood, supported, and challenged in ways that promote growth. My style is warm, collaborative, and thoughtful. I strive to create a space where you can openly explore your experiences, emotions, relationships, and personal goals without fear of judgment.

I use an integrative approach that draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and psychodynamic therapy. Depending on your needs, we may focus on identifying unhelpful thought patterns, improving relationships and communication, or gaining deeper insight into recurring emotional and behavioral patterns.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship difficulties, academic or career stress, or questions about identity and self-worth, I work collaboratively with you to develop greater self-understanding and meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will spend time getting to know each other and discussing what brings you to therapy. I may ask a variety of questions about different areas of your life, including your relationships, personal history, current concerns, and strengths, to gain a broader understanding of your experiences.

You do not need to prepare anything specific or have everything figured out before we meet. I encourage you to come with an open mind and some thoughts about what you hope to gain from therapy, even if those goals are still developing. Together, we will begin identifying areas of focus and creating a plan that feels meaningful and achievable for you.

My goal is to provide a warm, nonjudgmental environment where you feel comfortable sharing your experiences and exploring what matters most to you.
