Great to meet you!

I believe that therapy should be a safe, judgment-free space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. I work from a person-centered approach, meaning our relationship comes first—I strive to create an environment where you can show up exactly as you are. I specialize in working with individuals who experience intense emotions, relationship challenges, and patterns that feel difficult to change, including those navigating borderline personality disorder (BPD). I am trained in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), which helps build skills in emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness. I am also working towards the last few years of my doctoral work in marriage and family therapy. I am a certified domestic violence therapist working with survivors and perpetrators of domestic violence.

My approach to therapy

I approach therapy as a collaborative experience. I want to be with you as you figure out what is important to you. I have experience with substance abuse as a therapist at a halfway house for people who have recently been released from prison or who have recently left homelessness. I take a body/mind approach and feel it's important to look at every aspect of what an individual or couple is experiencing to better help them on their path.

I love helping those going through faith transitions, and to help them find their way to what best suits their lives and brings them fulfillment and happiness.

What you can expect from me

Our first session, I would love to get to know what is important to you in therapy, what you are looking for in a therapist and to create a laidback and safe space to talk about what is most important and helpful for you.
