Serena Shade has a Master of Science in Counseling Psychology from Angelo State University. In addition, she is pursuing her Doctoral Degree in Counselor Education from Texas Tech University. Serena has been a Licensed Professional Counselor since 2019. She is also a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor Intern.

A bit about my approach to therapy

Serena has been working in the field of mental health since 2010. Her first job at River Crest Hospital in San Angelo, Texas, allowed her to work with children, adolescents, adults, and veterans with various mental health issues. Serena has also worked with juvenile offenders, adult offenders, substance abusers, couples, families, and trauma victims throughout her career. She is also EMDR trained.

Although Serena enjoys working with any individual who seeks to improve their mental well-being, she is genuinely passionate about her work with substance abusers. She strives to meet the individual where they are in their journey and assist them in improving their life.
