Great to meet you!

Your words. Your voice. Your story. You deserve to be heard.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC) in Texas, dedicated to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their experiences, heal, and grow. I believe therapy works best when you feel truly understood, respected, and empowered to show up as your authentic self.

My approach to therapy

I have worked in the helping profession for over 20 years. Throughout my career, I have provided counseling services to individuals impacted by domestic violence, sexual assault, and substance use. I provide counseling using Christian principles where faith, respect, and emotional safety are honored. My clinical approach is evidence-based and collaborative. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to address trauma-related beliefs, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to support healing from distressing or traumatic experiences. Together, we work to build insight, develop coping skills, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

In your first session with me, you can expect a welcoming and supportive space where empathy, compassion, and understanding guide the work we do together. This first meeting is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and for you to share what has brought you to counseling—at your own pace. I am currently accepting new clients and am in-network with Headway. I accept most major insurance plans, including Aetna, Cigna, Oxford, United Healthcare, Oscar Health, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield, as well as cash pay. You don’t have to navigate this journey alone.
