Great to meet you!

Accepting new clients. With more than a decade of experience in education, I offer a unique understanding of the academic, social, and emotional challenges students face each day. I earned my undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University and my master’s degree from Lamar University, providing me with both the educational background and practical experience to support students and families effectively.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is not one-size-fits-all. I use an eclectic, individualized approach to create a treatment plan that aligns with each client’s unique needs and goals. Whether through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to address unhelpful thought patterns, a person-centered approach focused on processing emotions, or solution-focused techniques aimed at achieving meaningful change, I work collaboratively with clients to find the therapeutic methods that best support their growth and well-being.

What you can expect from me

I create a counseling environment that is supportive, structured, and goal-oriented, integrating a direct, solution-focused approach with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I work collaboratively with clients to identify challenges, explore thought patterns, and develop practical strategies that promote meaningful and lasting change. My approach emphasizes skill-building, measurable goals, and real-world application, empowering clients to take an active role in their personal growth. By balancing accountability with empathy, I strive to foster resilience, confidence, and sustainable progress.
