My name is Seth Erickson and I specialize in working with individuals struggling with depression, trauma/PSTD and men who are struggling with emotional or social challenges.
As for my education, I have a Masters in Human Services Counseling with a Specialization in Crisis Response and Trauma. I also have a Masters in Social Work. I also completed a year long fellowship in Trauma-Based Behavior Health from Southern Illinois Universities School of Medicine.
In my counseling practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based treatments to address depression, men’s issues, and trauma/PTSD. We focus on changing unhealthy thought patterns, setting goals, and engaging in meaningful activities through Behavioral Activation. For trauma, I combine CBT with narrative therapy to foster healing and post-traumatic growth. With a specialized education in crisis response and trauma, I’m dedicated to helping you overcome and thrive.
