Great to meet you!
I was born and raised in the Los Angeles area, where a lifelong curiosity about people and ideas led me to study Rhetoric and Philosophy at UC Berkeley. After graduating, I spent ten meaningful years teaching special education—a role that deepened my love for education, empathy, and service.
My path then shifted toward the world of recovery and mental health. I became a substance use counselor and soon realized how deeply I wanted to support clients in exploring the emotional and psychological roots of their experiences. That passion guided me back to school, where I earned my MSW from Cal State LA.
Since 2019, I’ve been dedicated to helping individuals navigate both mental health and addiction challenges, blending compassion, insight, and creativity to foster healing, growth, and meaningful change.
I am a licensed clinical social worker with a focus on person-centered, trauma-informed care. I provide psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, and older adults experiencing a range of concerns including anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, life transitions, and identity exploration.
My clinical approach is integrative, drawing from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, mindfulness-based interventions, and strengths-based models. I also incorporate art therapy and creative expression when appropriate, particularly for clients processing trauma or seeking alternative forms of communication.
I have experience in special education settings and addiction and recovery services, and I prioritize a supportive, nonjudgmental therapeutic environment. My goal is to help clients build insight, resilience, and the tools necessary to achieve their personal goals and improve overall functioning and quality of life.
Therapy is a collaborative process, and I invite clients to take an active role in shaping their treatment. I welcome the opportunity to support you in creating meaningful change.
