Great to meet you!

Hello and welcome! My name is Seth, and I'm a Golden-based trauma-informed therapist who specializes in anxiety, PTSD, and OCD, as well as depression, grief, life transitions, and relationship issues. I hold a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University, where I focused on Transpersonal Nature-Based Therapy.

Our struggles can often lead us to feel “broken,” or “wrong,” but I strongly hold that we are never broken or wrong, and instead see wounds that need compassion and healing. Together, we can explore your unique ability to grow from these struggles, and lead the happy, loving, and meaningful life you desire.

Curious? Me too!

My approach to therapy

One size does not fit all! I draw from various evidence-based modalities such as EMDR, somatic-based (body-centered), CBT, mindfulness-based, and IFS, but at the heart of my work are two things: relationship and meaningful engagement with the nervous system.

Humans heal best in relationship. For those of us where relationships haven't been safe, therapy can become a space where safety, trust, and connection are slowly explored and experienced in new ways.

I work to integrate the mind, body, and emotions simultaneously, recognizing that healing happens most effectively when the whole system is engaged. I also believe that resourcing positive states while working through trauma can be far more effective than simply pushing through pain. Healing can be both efficient and compassionate toward ourselves.

What you can expect from me

I believe therapy isn’t only about reducing pain. It’s also about creating space for growth, curiosity, and even joy. Life's struggles are serious, but they don't have to be approached without warmth or humor. While my work often goes deeper than simply talking about problems, I believe there is always room for lightness to exist alongside depth.
