Great to meet you!

I'm committed to helping you understand and resolve new life changes, painful emotions, relationship problems and sexual concerns in a safe, compassionate environment. I have tools to help you heal old emotional wounds of many kinds, "rewire" emotional triggers, diminish conflict and feelings of emptiness, experience more peace. I work with straight and GLBTQ clients.

My approach to therapy

I integrate the following therapeutic approaches in my work in gentle, powerful ways: Ericksonian Psychotherapy and Hypnosis; Self-Relations Psychotherapy; Relationship Therapy; Sex Therapy and EMDR. These tools help you face life with active curiosity and presence of mind, rather than old patterns, allowing new possibilities and opportunities to emerge.

What you can expect from me

I strive to share an orientation to problem-solving that is creative, positive and open to unexpected possibilities.

Married almost 50 years, I've learned a great deal about nurturing the good in relationships to keep them alive; meeting inevitable difficulties with resolve and creativity; and using problems to create a path to deep healing. As Jack Nicholson said, "Love makes you want to be a better person."

I accept insurance, but not EAP's at this time..
