Great to meet you!

I hold a doctorate alongside my LCSW — which means I've invested in clinical training at a level that goes beyond licensure requirements, and I bring that depth to every session through Inner Bloom Services.

I work with clients across the full developmental spectrum — children through seniors — on anxiety, depression, BPD, domestic violence, trauma, maternal mental health, relationship and couples challenges, and men's mental health. As a Black female therapist in Brooklyn, I bring cultural awareness and lived understanding to my practice — creating a space where you don't have to translate yourself before the real work can begin.

My training spans Fordham University and Yeshiva University, and I've been seeing clients in New York since establishing Inner Bloom Services.

My approach to therapy

My approach is built around the emotional and relational patterns that shape how people experience themselves and their relationships. Emotion-Focused Therapy helps uncover and shift the emotional cycles driving disconnection, distress, and relational struggles. Narrative Therapy invites you to examine the stories you've been telling about yourself — and choose which ones you want to carry forward. CBT addresses the thought patterns driving anxiety and depression. Solution-Focused Couples Therapy provides practical, evidence-based tools for relationship work.

Motivational Interviewing guides how I work when ambivalence about change is part of the picture. Family systems approaches inform how I understand relational dynamics across households.

Everything adapts to you. I meet you where you are and move at a pace that feels right.

What you can expect from me

We begin with a brief 15-minute intro call — a chance to connect and make sure this feels like the right fit before committing.

In the first full session, I'll ask about what's brought you here, what you've been carrying, and what you're hoping changes. We'll start mapping out your goals and get a clear sense of what our work together will actually look like.

Most people leave the first session feeling genuinely heard — and clearer about the path ahead.
