Great to meet you!

Reaching out for therapy is a courageous first step, and I strive to make that step feel as comfortable as possible. I believe healing happens when you feel safe, supported, and genuinely understood. My goal is to create a space where you can show up as you are, without judgment, pressure, or the need to have everything figured out.

I work with individuals ages 12 and older who are navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, relationship challenges, stress, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed. Whether you're facing a recent challenge or carrying experiences that have weighed on you for years, we'll work together to better understand what's happening beneath the surface and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

I see therapy as a partnership. You'll be met with compassion, curiosity, and respect as we work toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and evidence-based care. Therapy with me is about slowing down enough to understand what's really happening, not just managing symptoms, but exploring the patterns, experiences, and beliefs that may be keeping you stuck.

Together, we will identify how past experiences, stress, relationships, and life circumstances have shaped your emotional responses while building practical tools to help you navigate the present with greater confidence.

In our work together, you can expect to:

  • -Better understand your emotions and reactions
  • -Identify patterns that no longer serve you
  • -Build healthier emotional boundaries
  • -Strengthen coping skills and emotional regulation
  • -Improve communication and relationships
  • -Process trauma in a safe, supportive environment
  • -Develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and emotional balance

Healing isn't about rushing toward a finish line. It's about creating lasting change that supports the life you want to live.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll talk about what brought you to therapy, the challenges you're currently facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I'll also ask questions about your personal history, relationships, and experiences so I can better understand the whole picture, not just the symptoms you're experiencing.

There's no expectation that you have everything figured out before you arrive. You don't have to tell your entire story in one session or know exactly where to begin. We'll move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

By the end of our first meeting, you'll have a clearer understanding of how I work, the goals we'll begin working toward together, and whether we're the right fit. My hope is that you'll leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about what's possible.
