Great to meet you!

My journey into social work was deeply inspired by the belief that we are all connected, and that caring for others is one of life’s most meaningful purposes. After immigrating in 1999, I was drawn toward a career rooted in compassion, human connection, and the desire to support others through life’s challenges. This path led me to complete my Master’s in Clinical Social Work, where my research focused on identity, immigration, and the deeply personal experience of finding belonging in a new place.

Over the years, working in hospitals, counseling centers, and community settings has allowed me to support individuals from many different backgrounds while integrating a variety of therapeutic approaches into my practice. I believe that every person carries strengths within them, even during the most difficult moments, and part of my role is helping uncover those strengths and create space for healing and growth.

At the center of my work is the belief that genuine care, empathy, and human connection matter just as much as clinical knowledge. Building a therapeutic relationship grounded in trust, respect, cultural sensitivity, and understanding is essential to meaningful change. I see this work not simply as a profession, but as a lifelong commitment to helping others feel seen, supported, and empowered as they move toward healing and becoming the fullest version of themselves.

My approach to therapy

Every person’s experiences are different, which is why I believe therapy should be personalized to meet your unique needs. As we work together, I see our relationship as a partnership built on trust, open communication, and mutual respect. I’m here to listen without judgment, support you through challenges, and help guide you toward meaningful growth and change.

What you can expect from me

Our work together begins with an initial assessment session, where you’ll have the opportunity to share your story, talk about what has brought you to therapy, and identify the goals that feel most important to you. From there, we’ll work together to find an approach that best supports your unique needs and helps guide your healing journey.
