Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 25 years of experience helping people, like you, to create meaningful change. I enjoy providing counseling to individuals, couples, and families. Some of my clients have reported feeling overwhelmed, stressed, sad, anxious, or stuck. I spent 14 years in long term and acute care inpatient and outpatient behavioral health settings and 11 years in neurological rehabilitation. I obtained my bachelor’s degree from the University of Louisiana and master’s degree from LSU.

My approach to therapy

I believe you deserves to feel understood and supported in a safe and affirming atmosphere. I know that your experiences, culture, and identity are unique to you and our time together will reflect that. In therapy, I use practical, research-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and other therapies to meet your individual needs. These methods can help you understand your thoughts and emotions, learn new coping skills, and move toward the life you want to live.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, I will take time to get to know you and your experiences. My goal is to help you to build insights and strengths to overcome life's challenges. Together, we can explore what matters most to you and takes steps toward greater balance, clarity, and well-being.
