Great to meet you!

I support adults and teens who are navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, or overwhelming life experiences. My training includes EMDR, TF-CBT, CBT, and mindfulness-based approaches, and I focus on helping clients reduce distress, build resilience, and feel more grounded and empowered. As a bilingual English/Farsi therapist and immigrant, I value cultural sensitivity, identity awareness, and creating a non-judgmental space where clients can explore their experiences safely and authentically.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-focused, collaborative, and paced thoughtfully around safety and readiness. I blend structured, evidence-based interventions with warmth and curiosity, tailoring treatment to each individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all model. Therapy may include processing past experiences, learning coping tools, increasing emotional awareness, and developing healthier patterns that align with personal goals, values, and long-term healing.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, we focus on building comfort, discussing what brings you to therapy, exploring current challenges and symptoms, and clarifying what positive change would look like for you. We will discuss goals and establish a shared plan, while moving at a pace that feels safe and manageable. There is no expectation to disclose anything before you are ready—your sense of safety, control, and consent is central to the process.
