Great to meet you!

Hi! I am a licensed professional counselor, and I believe in compassionate, evidence-based, and collaborative care. I have been in the mental health field for 5 years.

Whether this is your first time seeking therapy or your third time seeking therapy, I look forward to working with you. I work with people juggling busy lives, dealing with life changes, and trying to navigate new circumstances, from breakups to new jobs to new cities, new countries, and anything in between. My goal is to help you get to the direction you seek by equipping you with the right tools, helping you process your feelings and decisions, or both.

My approach to therapy

I am collaborative, evidence-based, interpersonal, holistic, and person-centered in my approach. I also operate from an internal family systems (IFS) lens. What does this all mean?

It means we work together to create a plan for your care, use different behavioral measurement scales to track your progress, look at your life as it is today, in the past, and where you would like to go, review various aspects of your life that impact you, and from that lens then approach your care.

My goal is to create a dialogue between my clients and myself, where the client feels both empowered and in charge of their own care so we can help you move in the right direction.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is what we call an "Intake".

You and I will review your symptoms, previous treatments, overall history, and your goals for therapy.

From there, we will work on creating a personalized treatment plan that will include reviewing what supports you have and discussing your goals.

This will be the "living document" that we will continue to update every few months so we can use that as the blueprint for your progress in therapy.
