Great to meet you!

It's easy to brush off signs that your mental health is in need of attention- until your body demands that you listen. Maybe you find yourself lying awake at night, or you're spending most of your free time sleeping. Tears seem to well up at the drop of a hat, or you carry a constant pit in your stomach. Some of us have been taught that strength means suffering in silence, while others have always used avoidance to cope. Oftentimes we are too busy taking care of others to take care of ourselves.

I am a passionate social worker with a background in working in the medical field, which gave me experience supporting people from all walks of life who are struggling with life's biggest challenges. Whether you are struggling with caregiving, life transitions, relationship issues or just daily demands, I will meet you where you are at in this moment. I welcome work with LGBTQIA+ populations, and clients with alternative beliefs or values.

My approach to therapy

I believe that it's never too late to gain perspective, learn healthy tools and take back charge of your life. I am laid back, authentic and non-judgmental. My approach uses a combination of techniques that is tailored for your specific goals. We will always go at your pace and focus on the areas that you determine are most important for your own life.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will get to know one another and review expectations for our time together. I will ask you questions about your history, symptoms and what prompted you to seek therapy.
