Shaina Neal

Welcome! My name is Shaina and I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and Nevada. Throughout my career I have worked in a variety of settings to include schools, prisons, residential treatment facilities, in-home care, community clinics, and teletherapy in both rural and urban areas. In every single setting I have noted patterns of underlying and often deep rooted trauma with many of my clients and this has really become my passion.

I heavily focus on the connection of mind and body in my practice. I love teaching how our thoughts, feelings, and behaviors interact with our bodies and providing clients with knowledge. My goal is to help you increase self-awareness and leave you with evidence-based coping skills.

I will tailor our first session to your current need. Some clients have held it in for so long they just want to share, they want to be heard, and some clients feel overwhelmed and don't even know where to start. Either way, I will help you because I want to learn about you and what you want out of this experience. My goal is increasing awareness so you can feel some organization in the chaos. I want to provide you an environment in which you feel like this is a new start in your journey.
