Great to meet you!

I am a board-certified Psychiatric–Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with over 17 years of nursing experience caring for individuals across different stages of life. My background includes medical, pediatric, geriatric, hospice, and behavioral health settings, which has shaped my ability to care for the whole person, not just the diagnosis.

I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care for children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, mood disorders, trauma-related symptoms, attention difficulties, behavioral concerns, life transitions, and stress-related challenges.

I understand that reaching out for mental health support can be a big step. My approach is warm, collaborative, and judgment-free. I take time to listen, understand your story, and work with you to create a treatment plan that supports your individual needs and goals.

My goal is for every client to feel heard, respected, and empowered while working toward improved mental wellness and a better quality of life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is individualized, compassionate, and patient-centered. I believe every person has a unique story, and I take the time to understand more than just symptoms. I consider your experiences, lifestyle, stressors, medical history, strengths, and personal goals when developing a treatment plan.

I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, evidence-based medication management when appropriate, psychoeducation, and practical coping strategies to support your overall mental wellness.

I believe the best outcomes happen through collaboration. I value open communication and shared decision-making, ensuring you feel heard, supported, and actively involved throughout your journey toward healing and improved well-being.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and understand what brought you to seek support. I provide a welcoming, respectful, and nonjudgmental environment where you can share your concerns, experiences, challenges, and goals at your own pace.

During our visit, we will complete a comprehensive evaluation, review your history, discuss your current symptoms, and explore what matters most to you. Together, we will create a personalized care plan that may include medication options, therapy recommendations, coping strategies, lifestyle changes, or additional support based on your needs.

My goal is for you to leave your first appointment feeling heard, supported, and with a clearer understanding of the next steps toward improving your mental health and overall well-being.

I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing, growth, and a healthier future.
