Great to meet you!

Does your home feel more stressful than peaceful? Is it hard to handle tough moments with your child in public when they have big feelings? Do everyday talks sometimes turn into yelling or frustration? Do you feel worn out from setting limits and trying to keep peace at home?

You are not alone. Many parents face these same struggles. With support, understanding, and tools you can use every day, your family can build stronger bonds, handle hard moments, and create a calmer home.

My approach to therapy

I believe family struggles are not a sign that anyone is broken or at fault. Instead, I look at how family members work together and how their actions affect one another. I focus on the challenges your family faces today and help you find ways to move forward.

I work with parents and caregivers to build strong leadership at home. This helps children feel safe and supported while parents set clear limits and make the choices that are best for the family. My goal is to help your family work as a team and build a calmer, healthier home.

What you can expect from me

I take an active and team-based approach to family therapy. First, I work to build trust with each person in the room. I want everyone to feel heard and respected. I invite each family member to share their thoughts and feelings about why they are coming to therapy.

I also pay attention to how family members talk and act with one another. This can help us see patterns that may be adding to the stress at home. Together, we will find new ways to handle hard moments, set limits, and build stronger family bonds.

If you are ready to try new tools and make changes at home, I invite you to book a session with me through Headway. I also offer a free 15-minute phone call so we can see if we are a good fit. I am licensed to provide therapy in Ohio and West Virginia. I offer both in-person and online sessions.
