Great to meet you!

Taking the first step toward change is not easy. Therefore, I want to acknowledge your strength in taking this first step. I am a licensed clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience specializing in clinical psychology, chronic pain, and related mood difficulties. My focus is on helping individuals build resilience - the ability to adapt and recover from adversity, trauma, and chronic stress.

Like the phoenix, a symbol of renewal and strength, this work is about rising from hardship toward healing. My goal is to empower you with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate life’s challenges and foster lasting psychological well-being.

My approach to therapy

I offer evidence-based treatment grounded in approaches that have been shown to be effective through extensive research. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a foundational part of my work and is widely recognized as a first-line treatment for chronic pain.

Over time, pain can become more than physical, it can affect mood, functioning, and overall well-being. Together, we take an active, problem-solving approach to better understand pain and develop practical strategies to reduce its impact. With the right tools, meaningful change is possible, both physically and emotionally.

What you can expect from me

My focus is on helping you build a sense of confidence and control by developing a deeper understanding of your pain and how to manage it. While treatment may not eliminate pain entirely, our goal is to improve overall functioning and quality of life.

From the beginning, we’ll work together to create a personalized plan and a set of practical tools you can continue using outside of sessions. This process takes courage, and you don’t have to do it alone. Healing is possible, and support is here when you’re ready.
