Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a background in behavioral health and experience working in high-acuity settings, including psychiatric emergency services. I hold advanced training in counseling and focus on supporting individuals navigating anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and substance use concerns. My approach is person-centered and collaborative, integrating evidence-based practices to help clients improve emotional regulation, build coping skills, and strengthen overall functioning. I am committed to creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore challenges, build resilience, and create meaningful, lasting change.

My approach to therapy

I work with clients in a collaborative, person-centered way, creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be open and feel genuinely supported. My style is warm, direct, and goal-oriented—I meet you where you are while also helping you move toward meaningful change. I use evidence-based approaches to support emotional regulation, reduce anxiety, and address patterns related to trauma, self-worth, relationships, and substance use. I also take a holistic, strengths-based perspective, helping you build resilience, increase insight, and develop practical tools you can use in your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to feel welcoming, structured, and focused on helping them feel comfortable sharing at their own pace. I create a safe, nonjudgmental environment where we begin exploring what’s bringing you to therapy, your current challenges, and what you hope to gain from the process. Together, we will identify initial goals—such as improving emotional regulation, reducing anxiety, strengthening coping skills, or addressing relationship and self-worth concerns—and begin outlining a path forward. By the end of the session, you can expect to have a clearer sense of direction, an understanding of how I work, and the start of a collaborative plan tailored to your needs.
