Great to meet you!

My name is Shameka Sparrow, and I am a responsive and holistic therapist and healer who believes that transformation begins with vision. I help you reconnect with your inner wisdom, awaken your creative power, and step into the life you feel called to live.

My work integrates clinical training with mind–body awareness, narrative healing, and spiritually grounded practices.

Clinically, I use these evidence-based modalities to support emotional balance, trauma healing, and meaningful change. I specialize in guiding clients through stress, anxiety, trauma recovery, identity work, and major life transitions.

My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that healing is not only possible — it is already within you.

In our work together, I help you see what’s possible, imagine it fully, and take empowered steps toward making that vision real. Together, we’ll uncover the clarity, strength, and wholeness that have always been yours.

My approach to therapy

My approach is grounded in the belief that healing is a journey, and I serve as a guide walking alongside you. I approach therapy as a collaborative, collective process — together, we work to arrive at your appointed destination called healing.

Clinically, I integrate:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma
  • Narrative Therapy
  • Behavioral Activation
  • Mindfulness-based practices
  • Mind–body awareness and somatic grounding

I blend these evidence-based approaches with holistic, intuitive practices that support emotional, spiritual, and psychological wellness. Whether you are navigating trauma, anxiety, stress, or a life transition, my goal is to offer tools that help you feel grounded, empowered, and aligned with your inner truth.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my focus is on getting to know you! and your story, your strengths, your concerns, and what has brought you to this moment.

I conduct a comprehensive biopsychosocial assessment to develop a holistic understanding of your life experiences and to create an individualized treatment plan.

Clients can expect a warm, grounded, and nonjudgmental environment where you can speak freely and begin exploring what healing looks like for you. By the end of the first session, we will have identified your goals and established the foundation for the work we will do together.
