Great to meet you!

Hello, I'm Shamone Cox, a dual board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (FNP-BC, PMHNP-BC). I provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to adolescents and adults, creating a supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered.

My approach to therapy

I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, and substance use disorders. My approach begins with understanding your unique experiences and goals. Together, we'll develop a personalized treatment plan that may include medication management, education, and collaborative support to help you achieve lasting wellness.

What you can expect from me

With a strong clinical foundation and advanced training, I believe mental health care works best when it is centered on trust, open communication, and treating the whole person—not just symptoms. I strive to help clients build resilience, improve daily functioning, and regain confidence in their lives.

Whether you're seeking care for the first time or continuing your mental health journey, I look forward to partnering with you in a compassionate, judgment-free environment.
