Great to meet you!

You may be doing everything you can to keep up with life's demands while feeling overwhelmed, distracted, or emotionally exhausted. Perhaps ADHD makes it difficult to stay organized, anxiety leaves your mind constantly racing, or relationship challenges have made it harder to feel understood and connected to the people around you. I work with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing ADHD, stress management, relationship issues, PTSD, and family challenges. These concerns can also overlap with depression, anger management, panic disorders, grief or loss, LGBTQIA+ concerns, identity issues, trauma, or women's issues, especially when emotional struggles, family dynamics, and personal experiences begin affecting one another. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel genuinely heard, respected, and supported without judgment. Together, we can better understand what has been weighing on you, recognize your existing strengths, and develop healthier ways of coping that help you feel more confident, connected, and in control of your everyday life.

My approach to therapy

Our work will make room for both the person you are and the relationships, family dynamics, responsibilities, and experiences that have shaped you. We'll explore how ADHD, stress management, relationship issues, PTSD, and family challenges may be affecting your emotional wellbeing, sense of self, and ability to navigate everyday life. I may use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help you recognize patterns in thoughts and behaviors that contribute to distress and develop healthier ways of responding, while Dialectical Behavior Therapy can help you build practical skills for regulating emotions, managing stress, and communicating more effectively. I may also draw from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help you navigate difficult thoughts and feelings while staying connected to your values, and Solution Focused Brief Therapy to identify your strengths and turn meaningful goals into manageable steps. For younger clients, Play Therapy can provide a developmentally appropriate way to express emotions and process experiences, while Attachment Based Family Therapy can help us explore relationship patterns and strengthen family connections. When appropriate, EMDR and trauma focused approaches can support the processing of painful experiences. Our sessions will be collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs, balancing deeper understanding with practical strategies that support meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

You do not have to navigate life's challenges alone or have everything figured out before reaching out for support. During our first few sessions, we'll take time to understand what brought you here, what has been most difficult, and what you hope will feel different. Whether we're working individually or addressing family concerns, we'll establish meaningful goals together and identify practical steps that feel realistic for your circumstances. You can expect me to bring warmth, empathy, and thoughtful encouragement to our conversations while creating a space where you can speak openly about difficult emotions, relationships, identity, or painful experiences without judgment. Progress may look like developing strategies that make ADHD easier to manage, responding to stress with greater confidence, communicating more effectively with loved ones, strengthening family relationships, or feeling safer and less controlled by experiences from your past. We'll continue checking in on your goals and adjusting our work based on what feels most helpful, helping you move forward with greater emotional balance, self-awareness, and confidence in yourself.
