Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed independent social worker with advanced training in both Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies and Social Work, and I’ve dedicated my career to helping people navigate life’s most difficult emotional experiences. With over two decades of experience in advocacy, education, and direct clinical care, I bring both depth and compassion to the work we do together.

I specialize in supporting individuals experiencing Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, domestic violence, recovery from narcissistic relational abuse, adult neurodivergent diagnosis and complex integrated family systems. I also have extensive experience helping clients process trauma and build resilience, particularly those who have experienced violence, relational harm, or long-standing emotional pain.

If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—from yourself or others—you’re not alone. My role is to help you reconnect with your sense of purpose, strengthen your relationships, and create a life that feels more meaningful and manageable via a trauma informed, client centered, empowering and holistic lens.

My approach to therapy

My approach is trauma-informed, holistic, and deeply client-centered. I integrate evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and motivational interviewing to meet you where you are and support meaningful, lasting change.

I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, I tailor our work together to your unique needs—whether you’re managing intense emotions, navigating addiction, working through family conflict, or coping with anxiety, depression, or bipolar disorder.

Together, we’ll explore patterns, build practical coping skills, and develop insight into what’s driving your experiences. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and empowered to grow—while also gently challenging you when needed to help you move forward.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you—your story, your current challenges, and what brought you to therapy. This is a collaborative and judgment-free space where you can speak openly at your own pace.

We’ll begin identifying your goals and what you’d like to change or improve, whether that’s managing anger, reducing anxiety or depressive symptoms, stabilizing mood, improving relationships, or addressing disordered eating patterns. From there, we’ll start shaping a personalized plan that aligns with your needs and values.

You can expect to leave the first session with a clearer sense of direction, a deeper understanding of your experiences, and the reassurance that you don’t have to navigate this alone.
