Great to meet you!
Shana is a licensed mental health counselor with more than 10 years of experience helping adolescents and adults navigate addiction, anxiety, depression and other mood concerns, ADHD, trauma, grief and loss, relationship challenges, and the everyday stressors that can make life feel overwhelming.
Having worked extensively in individual, couples, and group counseling settings with clients ranging from age 15 through adulthood, Shana understands that there is no single “right” way to do therapy. She welcomes people from diverse backgrounds, experiences, and stages of life and believes therapy should be tailored to the person sitting in front of her.
Shana’s style is warm, genuine, creative, and down-to-earth. She knows starting therapy can feel intimidating, particularly if you’ve never been to therapy before or haven’t felt understood in the past. You don’t need to arrive with everything figured out or even know exactly what you want to say.
Taking the first step is a big deal. Shana’s goal is to give you a soft place to land—and a supportive place from which to grow.
When not in session, I am spending time with my family either outdoors or having a showtune karaoke dance party. Stick figure drawings are my speciality and are often featured in my sessions. I look forward to working with you!
