Great to meet you!

My clients are often women who:

  • Are tired of feeling burned out or overwhelmed
  • Want to engage in intentional, effective self-care
  • Are ready to break unhelpful patterns and thought cycles
  • Desire healthier relationships—with others and themselves
  • Want to build a life they can feel proud of and at peace with

I am a licensed clinician with over 20 years of experience supporting women through life’s most demanding seasons. My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and is both practical and empowering—focused on helping clients gain clarity, build confidence, and take meaningful action toward change.

I specialize in working with high-achieving women, corporate and professional women, and women navigating relationship challenges who feel overwhelmed, stressed, or emotionally exhausted. Many of the women I work with are successful on the outside but struggling internally—trying to manage careers, relationships, expectations, and personal well-being without losing themselves in the process.

Rather than chasing the idea of “perfect balance,” our work together focuses on integration—helping you create a life that aligns with your values, supports your mental health, and allows you to show up fully without burnout. I work best with women who are ready to do the work, open to reflection, and excited about the possibility of building a life that feels intentional, sustainable, and fulfilling.

In addition to my clinical work, I bring experience as an author, media contributor, and mental health expert, offering a well-rounded and culturally responsive perspective to therapy. I am committed to providing a supportive, affirming space where you can feel seen, challenged, and empowered to grow.

If you’re ready to invest in yourself and create meaningful change, I would be honored to support you on that journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and rooted in empowerment, collaboration, and respect for each client’s lived experience. I understand that choosing to seek support is not easy, and I honor the courage it takes to begin this process.

I work from a partnership model—meaning therapy is something we do together. While I bring clinical expertise, tools, and structure to our work, I believe the client is the expert on their own life. My role is to support, guide, and help you gain insight, develop skills, and create meaningful change in a way that feels aligned with your values and goals.

My style is warm, supportive, and direct. I help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, explore how stress and expectations show up in daily life, and build practical strategies that promote emotional well-being, clarity, and confidence. I place a strong emphasis on intentional self-care, boundaries, and sustainable growth—especially for women who are high-achieving, overwhelmed, or feeling burned out.

I specialize in working with women who are ready to engage in the therapeutic process and are seeking support around stress management, life transitions, relationship concerns, and creating a more integrated and fulfilling life. Therapy with me is not about perfection—it’s about progress, empowerment, and building a life that feels healthy and authentic.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is focused on building rapport and creating a safe, supportive space for you to begin your therapeutic journey. This time is about getting to know one another and ensuring that you feel comfortable, heard, and supported.

During our initial session, I will take time to learn more about you—your story, your current challenges, your goals, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We will explore what brought you to therapy at this point in your life and identify the areas where you would like support or change.

This session is primarily focused on information gathering and partnership. Together, we will begin laying the foundation for our work by clarifying objectives, discussing priorities, and setting an initial direction for our time together. While the first session is not about solving everything at once, it is an important step in creating a thoughtful and intentional plan for the work ahead.

Most importantly, you can expect a collaborative approach. Therapy is a partnership, and from the very first session, we will work together to build a process that supports your growth, well-being, and long-term goals.
