Hello, my name is Shāna and I am a licensed professional therapist located in the Ahwatukee Foothills. I attended Arizona State University and received my Master’s Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Argosy University.
I have experience working with diverse cultures, SMI and general mental health populations. I have experience with treating trauma, relationship distress, codependency, borderline personality disorder (BPD), depression, anxiety, and LGBTQIA issues.
I believe the relationship between therapist and client is foundational. I believe caring for your mental health should be given the same importance as caring for your physical health. I offer a compassionate and client-centered approach to help you reprogram negative thoughts and reduce unwanted emotions.
My goal is to provide you with a safe, collaborative, and non-judgmental environment to share your story and navigate changes.
I believe it is important to meet you where you are, and build a foundation from there. You are the expert on your life. My job as your counselor is to follow you on your journey and at times co-create corrective experiences helping you to develop and practice coping skills to more effectively manage your life and relationships. I want to help you build on the strengths you already have and add more tools to your toolbox. Together we can work to reduce any suffering you may be experiencing.
