Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Shana, a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with experience working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I provide individualized medication management for concerns including anxiety, depression, ADHD, mood disorders, and substance use. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and focused on helping each person feel heard while developing a treatment plan that fits their unique needs and goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach is creative, holistic, and open-minded. I believe in treating the person, not just the diagnosis or label. I take the time to understand each client’s unique symptoms, experiences, goals, and circumstances and tailor treatment accordingly. I’m open to thinking outside the box, including considering evidence-based off-label medication options when appropriate. My goal is to create a collaborative treatment plan that feels realistic, individualized, and meaningful to each person.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and for me to understand what you’re experiencing and what you hope to get out of treatment. We’ll talk about your symptoms, history, current medications, and goals, while also looking at the bigger picture of your life and what may be contributing to how you’re feeling. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, understood, and with a clear, individualized plan moving forward.
