Great to meet you!

Congratulations on taking this exciting step toward improving your mental health and overall well-being. Reaching out for support isn't always easy, and i believe it takes strength and courage to begin the healing process.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with children, adolescents, adults, older adults, and families. Throughout my career, I have provided support in child welfare, hospice care, crisis intervention, inpatient behavioral health, and community-based services. These experiences have allowed me to work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, life transitions, stress, relationship concerns, and other emotional challenges.

My goal is to provide a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, respected, and supported. I believe every person has strengths, and together we will build on those strengths to help you overcome obstacles, develop healthy coping skills, and move toward the life you want to live.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a collaborative partnership where we work together to identify your goals and create meaningful, lasting change. Every person is unique, so I tailor treatment to fit your individual needs rather than using a one-size-fits all approach.

My practice incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Strengths-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness techniques. Together we will explore unhelpful thought patterns, strengthen coping strategies, build resilience, and focus on practical solutions that support your emotional well-being.

Whether you are navigating anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, trauma, or major life changes, I strive to help you feel empowered, understood, and confident in your ability to move forward.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is all about getting to know you. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, your personal history, your current concerns, and the goals you would like to achieve. This is also your opportunity to ask questions and determine whether we are a good fit.

My goal is to create a comfortable and supportive environment where you feel safe sharing at your own pace. You won't be expected to have everything figured out. We will begin identifying your strengths, discuss a treatment plan that meets your needs, and take the first steps toward meaningful change together.
