Great to meet you!

I began my professional career as Juvenile Probation Officer in 1996. In 2004, I transitioned to the mental health/substance abuse field. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist since 2014.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My approach is informal. I like to connect with you just sipping on a cup of coffee, just talking. Normalizing your thoughts and feelings while offering concrete skills to use help manage your emotions, to help you tolerate stressful moments without making them worse, and concrete skills to improve your relationships.

What you can expect from our first session

You can expect to feel motivated, empowered and encouraged from sessions with me. You will learn effective ways to deal with stressful events, you will learn how to name what you feel in order to manage your feelings instead of allowing your feelings to control you, you will learn how to effectively determine what is within your control and how to execute your next steps.
