Great to meet you!

I specialize in supporting gay men (as well as lbtq+’s) through the complexities of self acceptance, life transitions, relationship issues (open? poly? I got you) and a multitude of mental health struggles. We all have some form of trauma that impacts us, our experiences are unique. I can help you through the nuances of self and community to build towards a life you’re satisfied living.

My approach to therapy

My goal is to be a compassionate guide and partner on your journey. You are the expert in your life and I will honor that in assisting you in reaching your goals. I work in a variety of evidence based therapy modalities, utilizing my knowledge base to best address your specific situation. Therapy isn’t a cookie cutter, we’ll make a plan unique to you, but rest assured, I have thoughts too, and we will always be in conversation with one another.

What you can expect from me

Through my experience I have gained a deep understanding of diverse identities and I work to create a safe space for exploration and healing. I will always respect your experience, and challenge you in compassionate but real ways. I tend to utilize humor and levity and want you to feel a comfortable sense of conversation. Having been on the client side, I know from experience how beneficial having a therapist from my own community can be, I aim to provide that to you.
