Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with more than 25 years of experience helping children, teens, adults, couples, and families navigate life's challenges. Throughout my career, I've worked in nonprofit mental health organizations, addiction treatment, and behavioral health settings, while also serving as a clinical supervisor and program director. These experiences have given me a deep understanding of how people grow, heal, and build resilience through every stage of life.

I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, stress, anger, relationship challenges, life transitions, and substance use concerns. My goal is to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for greater balance, we'll work together to identify practical solutions that fit your unique needs.

My approach to therapy

I believe the best therapy starts by meeting you exactly where you are. Every person brings a unique story, and I strive to create a safe, relaxed environment where you can speak openly without fear of judgment. I balance compassion with honesty, offering encouragement while also gently challenging patterns that may be keeping you stuck.

My approach is integrative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and interpersonal therapy. Depending on your goals, our work may focus on developing coping skills, improving relationships, managing emotions, processing difficult experiences, or building greater confidence and self-awareness. Together, we'll identify practical strategies that help you feel more grounded and capable of navigating life's challenges.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, my priority is getting to know you and understanding what brought you to therapy. You'll have the opportunity to share your story at your own pace, and there's no pressure to have everything figured out before we meet. I'll listen carefully, ask thoughtful questions, and explain how therapy works so you'll know what to expect moving forward.

By the end of our session, we'll begin identifying your goals, discuss a plan that feels right for you, and make sure you leave with a clear understanding of how we'll work together. Most importantly, I want you to feel heard, supported, and confident that you're taking a positive step toward the life you want.
