Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in early childhood and adolescent therapy, as well as anxiety, and depression. With a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of the Cumberlands, I utilize CBT, ACT, Existential, Gestalt, and Child-Parent Psychotherapy. I am dedicated to fostering resilience and well-being, creating an environment where clients can navigate challenges and achieve personal growth.

My approach to therapy

Everyone is unique, with their own individual needs. My therapy style is integrative, allowing me to draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches to best suit each client. I specialize in treating anxiety and depression, and if you are experiencing suicidal thoughts, please know that you are not alone. Depending on your symptoms, I tailor treatment to your specific needs, using methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Gestalt Therapy, Existential Therapy, and Person-Centered Therapy. The ultimate goal is to help you regain control of your life and support you in building a healthier, more positive future.

I also specialize in early childhood development, including areas such as trauma, developmental delays, behavioral challenges, neurodivergence, and anxiety. I use a range of approaches including psychoeducation, Child-Parent Psychotherapy, play-based therapy, and social construction theory. My goal is to support both children and their caregivers in working through challenges together. I prioritize creating a safe, supportive environment where clients feel truly heard, understood, and empowered.

What you can expect from me

My goal in therapy is to help clients gain self-awareness, build resilience, and achieve meaningful personal growth. I work collaboratively to set individualized goals that align with their unique needs, whether improving emotional regulation, or addressing anxiety and depression symptoms. Through an integrative approach, I guide clients toward self-actualization by fostering deeper understanding, and greater confidence in their decision-making. Ultimately, I strive to empower clients with the tools and insights needed to create lasting, positive change in their lives.
