Great to meet you!
I am a graduate of Florida Gulf Coast University with a Master's degree in Social Work. I have 7 years of experience providing counseling services to individuals and families. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, certified Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) Practitioner, and Qualified Supervisor.
In my practice, I focus on creating a welcoming and safe space where clients can openly share their thoughts, feelings, and life experiences without the fear of being judged. I believe that therapy is just a meaningful conversation with me serving as your listening ear and confidant. My approach is collaborative and creative, working together with clients to identify their goals and create personalized strategies to achieve them. I use evidence-based techniques and incorporate elements of interest such as videos, music, and art.
I have a strong passion for helping individuals realize their greatest potential in life and am thrilled to now be able to assist clients in managing their chronic pain. As the child of Jamaican immigrants, I bring a unique cultural perspective to my work, and I deeply value diversity and inclusivity throughout my practice. My faith also plays a key role in shaping my strong belief system and my commitment to providing ethical, compassionate care.
Beyond my professional work I enjoy The Arts, exploring new food ventures, and reading. I am dedicated to ongoing personal and professional growth to ensure that I offer the best possible care. I look forward to the chance to work with you, supporting your personal growth and helping you create the life you desire.
