Great to meet you!

My name is Shanese Williams, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Virginia and the District of Columbia. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of the District of Columbia and a Master’s in Social Work from Catholic University. My practice provides supportive, compassionate therapy for both children and adults facing life’s challenges, whether they be daily stressors, life transitions, school or workplace burnout, or other personal hurdles.

A bit about my approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is integrative, combining Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and holistic principles. This blend of evidence-based techniques with a whole-person focus helps clients manage stress, navigate life transitions, and foster growth.

My holistic approach addresses physical, emotional, and social well-being, encouraging self-care and lifestyle exploration.
