Shanet Outing

I’m Shanet Outing, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas with over seven years of experience. I founded a nonprofit focused on maternal health, child loss, and infant well-being, where I also offer doula services. Additionally, I serve as a special education teacher with Killeen ISD and am pursuing a doctorate in Community Care and Counseling with a Traumatology focus at Liberty University. My mission is to support resilience and healing for individuals and families in my community.

My dream client is someone who is solution focused. You are in counseling because you want to be. You are not mandated to come see me. You are meeting with me to grow and to evolve as a person. You know you want better and deserve better for yourself. It is a collaborative relationship to help guide you to get the necessary skills you need to live authentically.

The first session will consist of going over intake paperwork, going over the therapeutic relationship, creating a treatment plan that consists of goals and strategies. I will use the information to help guide the client to reach their goal.
