Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Shanida Goggans, a bilingual English and Spanish speaking Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over 20 years of experience, providing counseling and emotional support across clinical and community-based settings, including years of licensed clinical psychotherapy. I help individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief, self-worth challenges, and relationship conflicts. I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling and am passionate about supporting clients on their journey toward healing and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

I take a warm, supportive approach, helping clients gain self-awareness, build emotional resilience, and develop healthy coping strategies. My sessions are tailored to each individual’s needs, whether they seek structured guidance or reflective conversation. I respect each client’s worldview and can incorporate faith-based perspectives when meaningful to them.

What you can expect from me

My priority is to create a safe, supportive environment where you feel seen, heard, and valued. Together, we work toward greater self-acceptance, emotional balance, and improved relationships.
